Vergence’s latest DFAS contract adds a third team to a new mission area

The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) has awarded a two-year contract to Vergence Solutions in support of the Post Pay Review and Analysis (PPR&A) division. The scope of the work includes statistical analysis, statistical modeling, statistical programming, sample preparation, reporting, and audit readiness for compliance and oversight responses to the Office of the Inspector General. The mission of PPR&A is to ensure the accurate management of the disbursement of funds to troops and civilians paid through the Department of Defense (DoD).
“We are honored to keep earning the trust of DFAS. This work is pivotal to us because it is our first federal contract in our Business and Professional Support Services division,” said Vergence Chief Executive Officer Gabe Browne. “The mission is also special. We get to be an important part of safeguarding the taxpayer’s money while making sure our service men and women get paid. It doesn’t get much better than that.”
DFAS supports mission critical accounting and financial services for various branches of the DoD. Founded in 2011 and based in Indianapolis, Vergence supports IT, business, and healthcare services for its federal, DoD, state, and commercial customers.
